Diane O’Connor was born in the San Francisco Bay Area. O’Connor studied with a number of different artists including the notable abstract expressionist, Bill Gambini, (who was part of the NY City art scene of the 1950’s along with Rothko, Pollack and de Kooning).
Diane’s work varies in palette and presentation but always leans towards abstraction. She finds this non-traditional aspect allows her greater freedom of expression. O’Connor exhibited in group shows in California and New York.
