Emily Sartori was born in Massachusetts and studied Drawing & Lithography at Framingham State College, Massachusetts. After moving to San Diego, she studied Etching, Intaglio, & Relief Printmaking at the Art Academy of San Diego. She currently resides in Golden Hill.

“I began printmaking with limestone lithography- a complex process. Since then I have worked with etching and intaglio, and my current work consists mainly of linoleum relief prints. I like linoleum’s immediacy and capacity for bold results, as well as the rustic hand hewn textures it produces.”
