Originally from New England, Brannan comes from a family of artists and academics. It is this closeness that fostered an early critical appreciation for the arts. As a youth Brannan traveled extensively, living in South East Asia, and throughout the United States. Sean holds a BA in art & design, from Plymouth State University, and a MA in counseling Psychology, from National University.
In his current work with photo fabric paper he uses color theory, repetition, and illusory space to create nonrepresentational abstractions that breathe and vibrate.
