Special Event: New Contemporaries VI - June 2013
We're happy to announce that the Sparks Gallery will be opening for a special event during the month of June. The building will be presented in its raw form for this exhibition, before all of the major building renovations are completed at the end of the year. This is an opportunity to see this historical space in its "before" stage FOR ONE MONTH ONLY in a special preview showing.
We are honored to partner with the San Diego Visual Arts Network (SDVAN) for this exhibition and to host their "Emerging Artist" nominees for the annual "San Diego Art Prize: New Contemporaries Exhibit." Established Artists James Hubbell and Debbie & Larry Kline will select the winner this year. The SD Art Prize Mission is one that fits well with our own: Fusing Energy for San Diego Visual Arts: Mentorship, Education, Recognition, Collaboration.
