Interlocking Harmony

Interlocking Harmony

Come experience an evening of art, connection, and creative discovery.

Interlocking Harmony brings together the work of Anne Gaffey, Tiffany Bociek, and Katerina Husar Lazarova, three contemporary female artists exploring layering, intuition, transformation, and organic form through mixed-media painting, encaustic, layered wood, and acrylic.

The title Interlocking Harmony speaks to a form of connection that does not require sameness. Instead, harmony emerges here through the artist’s differences. Anne Gaffey creates quiet, distilled compositions through repeated processes of applying, obscuring, scraping, and revealing. Tiffany Bociek preserves and partially conceals images within translucent layers of wax––creating dreamlike spaces where memory, loss, joy, and imagination coexist. While Katerina Husar Lazarova allows intuitive drawings to expand beyond the boundaries of the traditional canvas. Her drawings are then transformed into sculptural form by layering wooden substraits. Each configuration is not necessarily about the sculpture itself but how the contours, curves and intuitive shape of the forms interact with light, shadow, and surrounding space.

The exhibition invites viewers to discover the harmony that emerges when distinct artistic voices, materials, and experiences intersect.

Join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, November 21, from 5–8 PM, and experience an evening celebrating connection, creativity, and the feminine perspective.
