The Oceanside Museum of Art's Artist Alliance presents its third exhibition at Sparks Gallery, featuring 29 contemporary artists selected by juror Sonya Sparks. Sugar Rush brings together vibrant, playful, and visually captivating works that celebrate bold color, whimsy, and the energetic spirit of contemporary art. Inspired by themes of sweetness, nostalgia, humor, and the visual excitement of popular culture, the exhibition showcases artwork that is lively, imaginative, and impossible to ignore.
Featuring works by Sabrina Adewumi, Mieko Anekawa, Scott Bruckner, David Burakoff, Kayla Bushman, Cathy Carey, Jeff Crusberg, Ellen Dieter, Kathy Dunaway, Dana Edwards, Kenda Francis, Helen Garcia, Holly Given, Laura Green, Becky Guttin, Janet Hansen, Angela Heald, Lynn Herrick, Sherry Krulle-Beaton, Laura Laslo, Alice Lemon, Kaylee Lien, Hollis Litrownik, Mike McLaughlin, Maidy Morhous, Odile Nicolette, Therese Verner, Bryn Williams, and Vincent Wray.
