“1920s Deco” Immersive Art Party at Sparks Gallery

On September 19, 2024, Sparks Gallery transformed into a 1920’s “Gatsby” style party, adorned in sparkles, pearls, and ostrich feather arrangements, with Deco and Nouveau inspired artwork hanging on our lower level.

Guests in period attire and fancy dress danced on the checkered dance floor to live music by Gregory Page.

The festivities included a silent auction with items from for our exclusively represented artists, including a chance to win a lunch with the artist.

The culinary spread provided by Continental Catering was inspired by a vintage cookbook, and San Diego Wine and Culinary Center cocktails such as “Bees Knees with Lavender Scented Bubble” were served behind a draped “speakeasy” in gold and black provided by Audio Visual San Diego.

Tintype Photography was provided by Catherine Segura, florals by Adorations Botanical Artistry, music by Gregory Page and Chiara Capobianco on the harp.

Thank you to our sponsors: San Diego Museum of Art, Vanguard Culture, Blick, Art San Diego, San Diego Visual Arts Network, A Reason To Survive (ARTS), and New Village Arts.
