Alexandra Hart

Alexandra Hart graduated with a B.S in Studio Art with a Jewelry concentration from Skidmore College and a M.F.A in Metalcrafts and Jewelry from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Hart has been designing jewelry for nearly two decades and has received numerous awards and scholarships.

Hart looks to nature and evolutionary evidence in biology for inspiration and has exhibited in galleries and museums as well as several permanent collections, such as the Wallace Memorial Library and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. Hart teaches metalcraft and jewelry in addition to serving in the Board of Directors for Ethical Metalsmiths, Compassion for African Villages, and the Women’s Jewelry Association.

Reflecting on the incredible lead-up to our amazing opening night spectacle at Sparks Gallery, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who participated in every way!
