I find endless inspiration in the natural world: the way no two sunsets are ever the same, the rhythm of the tides, the colors and textures found in earth and sky. These elements are the foundation of her artistic style. She start each piece on a wooden panel, layering acrylic paint with limestone powder and earth pigment dust. She treat texture as a language of its own — just as meaningful as color — because of how it invites us to feel. Irina then build depth through layers of coffee or tea, watercolor, acrylics, salt, and pastels. She rarely have a fixed image in mind; instead, she work from a feeling, letting the materials guide the story as it unfolds.
