Lenore Simon

Lenore Simon was born in New York and was a Fine Arts major at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Simon has been teaching art at various camps, community centers, and adult programs since 1963. In addition, Simon also taught Fundamentals of Drawing for 15 years at the University of California extension program. Simon received multiple awards and Artist-in-Residences during her illustrious career. Lenore Simon’s work is in over 300 collections, nationally and internationally, including an etching in the archives of the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.
