All of Najera’s paintings are developed as stories of the artist’s life, overlaid with influences of current inspirations focusing on specific projects. Marie Najera incorporates new languages and vocabularies as they pertain to current emotions, experiences, and her artwork’s designated spaces.

Her work is featured in numerous local corporate buildings, including the Grant Hotel, The Hilton Gaslamp, QUALCOMM, and most recently, a 60 foot painting for the new Fish Public restaurant in Kensington. Her work has also been shown in many San Diego art venues, including the La Jolla Athenaeum, Quint Gallery, Noel Baza Fine Art, and the Oceanside Museum.
