Minako Lee was born and raised on Japan and moved to San Diego in her mid-twenties. Lee studied ceramics at UCSD Crafts Center and subsequently started teaching there in 2011. Lee “create(s) all her work with Japanese natural and cultural inspirations and impacts.”
