Optimus Volts is a self taught, contemporary urban artist and designer from San Diego.

“My art can be described as an environmentally supportive collection of artwork. I recycle empty (used) spray paint cans to make standing and wall sculptures. About 75% are recycled by my friends who save them for me. Each spray can I deconstruct by puncturing a hole to release the gas inside. Then I begin cutting it into pieces I desire. The fun begins when I get started on putting it together.” – Optimus Volts
