Phil Rowland is currently an MFA candidate at San Diego State University (2013-present). He often combines wood and repurposed materials for his pieces.

From 1998-2001, Rowland received his AA at York College, NE, and in 2001, his BA in Art from California State University Long Beach.

Rowland received his MA in Teaching at Chapman University, Orange, CA in 2005.
