Ted Meyer received a B.F.A in Graphic Design from Arizona State University and is a nationally recognized artist, curator and patient advocate. Meyer seeks to improve patient/physician communications by speaking out about living as an artist with an illness. Meyer has been featured on NPR, New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and USA Today.

Meyer has exhibited nationally and internationally in museums, hospitals, and galleries. Meyer is the current Artist in Residence at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, where he curates exhibitions of artworks by patients whose subject matter coincides with medical school curriculum.
