“This series consists of print collages from a diverse set of graphic sources including comic books, anatomical art, technical illustrations, and other sources of 19th century wood engravings.  I was interested in exploring how the relationship between the parts and the whole could be manipulated to create tension between the form of the thing seen and its constituent parts.” – Vasquez
