Artist Statement: This tree/image is in every sense of the word is trying to your capture attention. Flourish is vibrant, textural, flowing and made up of five layers of digital photographs: the main image, two layers of textured wall colors, dots (love dots) and a glow behind the trees. I captured this tree in the Desert Garden in Balboa Park which has given me ample tree subjects to capture. Eight or so of my Alternate Treeality™ series images came from this same garden. Some color liberties were taken here!
