The alley is a place of mystery. An alley can be unique and banal all at the same time. In this new series, I am exploring and pushing the meaning of what is seen in an alley. When one peers down an alley it seems familiar and inviting, yet, foreboding. Some use the alley to return home or to use it as a shortcut, while other use it only for our discards of life. Utilitarian in nature, the alley can offer more to the viewer. The familiar, the mystery and sometimes for some, home.
