“Las Meninas Redux X Ten” is a still life painting inspired from a three dimensional clay sculpture of the imagined back view of Picasso’s Las Meninas painting. Picasso created his opus sixty years after seeing the original painting by Diego Velasquez . Las Meninas continues to attract artists to imagine, create and re-create ever more versions along this same theme.
