Description

Like a rain soaked Morris column, the past slowly erodes away as new ideas move into place. Patric Stillman has created a delicate visual of layered imagery in what can be described as his lightest work to date. Visually, Art Deco elements combine with contemporary washes that bend across the curved panel to underscore an uneasiness of the times, which has replaced the giddy excitement of the silver age after the Great War, which was thought to be the Last War.
