Description

“I first learned about Ojo de Dios amulets when I was about 9 years old. We used to craft these in elementary school with little wooden sticks and yarn. I enjoyed choosing the yarn by color and weaving them into a rainbow diamond.

A God’s eye (in Spanish, Ojo de Dios) is a spiritual tool and votive object made by weaving a design out of yarn upon a wooden cross. The four points of the cross represent the 4 elements: earth, wind, water and fire.

The Ojo de Dios or God’s eye is also a ritual tool and cultural symbol evoking the weaving motif and its spiritual associations for the Huichol and Tepehuan Indians of western Mexico. It can be used as protection from enemies and negative energies.

My intention is to share these magical objects with you. Use them as protection amulets for your home and as guidance in your life process.”
