Description

Princess’ is part of a series titled ‘Woman in boxes.’ These pieces were created out of humor and irony of the situation that most woman find themselves in. There is freedom for the most part, yet not equality. These images explore a woman’s emotional virtues and coping skills, that have long backfired and have limited, restricted, and confined her. I used myself as a model, taking some of my own virtues and creating irony around the situations I have found myself in the past. ‘Princess’ is about happy endings and waiting for someone to save you, a great story, meantime not very empowering.
