Description
“’Sabi #1’ is a play on the Japanese phrase, “Wabi-Sabi”, which is the art of finding beauty in imperfection and accepting the natural cycle of growth, decay, and death. Sabi also means rust in Japanese. ‘Sabi #1’ is made from wire lobster traps that were found on the beaches of San Diego. I liked the idea of upcycling and taking broken down conventional items and transforming them into pieces of art.” – Kimura
