“’Shredded Torso’ developed as part of a series of torsos created from three-dimensional plastic packaging forms found in a Costco recycle bin.

I used the form, as one would create sand castings, by pressing colorful shredded paper into the recessed areas.  I later contained the resulting figure into a plastic mesh ‘veggie’ bag and anchored the piece onto canvas with a circular needle.”
