Description

During my visit to Venice in November it had been raining for several days. Along with the high tides this caused the streets in the famous St. Marks Square to become flooded with water. In Italy this is called “Aqua Alta” high waters. The next day the skies had cleared. This gave me an opportunity to capture the water reflections revealing the shapes and colors of the sunlit buildings. In this reflection you can make out the Basilica of St. Marks on the left and the Doges Palace on the right.
