Fond memories come from experiences one has through their lives that are especially memorable! Each year while camping we would sit at the end of the day in front of a big fire with long sticks or wire hangers stretched out straight in hand toasting marshmallows and then squishing them between chocolate slices and graham crackers. Laughing at those that either fell off the stick into the fire or caught on fire. It came a competition as to who could get theirs golden brown on all sides. It began as fun and became a tradition that to this day remember and continue to enjoy. My kids now take me camping, and yes I bring along the Smores!!
