The Del

On this particular evening there were people everywhere watching the amazing sunset. In order to capture the scene without any people in the shot I had to walk into the water and around these rocks. As I looked back towards the land I caught a glimpse of the Hotel from this unique perspective. Because this was a long exposure and the water movement would cause the camera to shake I had to make several attempts to capture it correctly. I am very happy with the results. The combination of the rare tide, colorful sky and unique perspective gives this place a whole new look to this iconic Hotel. -- Sie
