On September 14, 2023, Sparks Gallery transformed into an immersive “Wonderland” themed to Alice’s adventures in the famous Lewis Carroll novel. Guests entered the party “down the rabbit hole” through a decorative arch covered in vines and foliage, embellished by Danielle Monique Designs, and were greeted by “Eat Me” cookies and sparkly “Drink Me” cocktails.

The culinary exploration provided by San Diego Wine and Culinary Center and Continental Catering continued with the Mad Hatter soup/tea bar and colorful cocktail station, as well as food stations throughout the space, with gluten free and dairy free options. For dessert, an “un-birthday cake” was served.

The gallery hosted approximately 150 guests who discovered immersive artist activations, such as body painting by Evgeniya Golik, infinity mirrors by Matt Elson, and live painting by Charlene Mosley, whose paints were sponsored by ROYAL TALENS USA.

Our guests enjoyed surreal and magic realism artwork on our upper level. Guests also won artwork in our silent auction and took home gifts for themselves, including handmade masks by artist Alexander Arshansky.

The space was decorated with elements from the novel, such as a giant chess set from Party Pals, a floral “chandelier” and table florals by Adorations Botanicals, and A Perfect Reflection Mirrored Photo Booth.
