Description
“This is a complex, emotional, and personal artwork. I truly believe that a painting can absorb and release certain kinds of energy, and that the artist is the master, who determines the purpose and the type of energy. The theme refers to the saying, ‘never a bride, always a bridesmaid.’ It is the kind of painting that should break this cycle and lift negative emotions.
When I created this piece, I was in a personal void and felt like people were just visiting my life, rather than staying in it. A feeling, when you are at someone else’s wedding, looking around at the people, so happy, celebrating life, and in love… while sitting alone in a corner.” – Arshansky
