Sculptures We Offer
The Popeye Mug is an example of a functional sculpture by one of our represented artists, Ron Carlson. This piece captures the beloved cartoon character in a unique presentation. Cheryl Tall creates surreal and magical sculptures such as the Nala and Simonetta. The Bristlecone Teapot by Cynthia Siegel is also a functional vessel with a unique design. Many of the sculptural works in our catalog are functional as well.
Purchase Sculptures from Sparks Gallery
Sparks Gallery focuses on surreal, magic realism, pop, and conceptual styles of sculpture. We are pleased to showcase a range of themes as well. We also offer payment options. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting to collect, we have many options available.
Materials Used in Sculptures
Traditional sculpture materials are marble, plaster, wood, metal, and clay. Today, artists have many more options to choose from. Artists can work with plastic or trash material (“detritus”, or “found” materials). This allows the artist to create a unique assemblage with easily accessible materials, such as scrap metal, wire, beads, and toys. Contemporary artists may also use 3D printing to create their sculptures.
